The Travelling Willows

The willow pattern is an iconic design that has made itself at home in cities across the globe. The Travelling Willows are an exploration of cityscapes depicted through the lens of the willow pattern. The illustrations were transformed into plates by Mervyn Gers Ceramics, handmade in Cape Town.

Following the plates, the Cape Town Willow serving platter was created.

The unique version of the willow pattern features a detailed panoramic view of Cape Town. The large platter is a versatile server and perfect gift for special occasions.

Production is limited to just 300 platters; each one is editioned on the back. Each platter is truly one of a kind.
